The memorial service for Dr. Roy Branson will be held next Sabbath, August 8, 4:00 p.m., at Azure Hills Adventist Church, 22633 Barton Rd., Grand Terrace.

Represent City Church at “National Night Out,” August 4. Because of recent articles in the news about Glendale City Church, we have been asked to host a table and help volunteer at the Pacific Park National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 4, from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. Contact the church office if you are available to staff our church table or the Communitas table or if you’re willing to help the coordinators with logistics.

On August 15 City Church will be celebrating Campmeeting Sabbath—come in your easygoing “campmeeting clothes,” and be ready to join in and sing hearty “campmeeting songs” together!

Spectrum presents: Ultraviolet Arts Festival, September 12-13. Glendale City Church is pleased to host this inaugural event to celebrate Adventist artists, featuring a concert and keynote address by recording artist Jennifer Knapp. Watch for more information on the festival in the weeks to come. City Church is actively seeking a new choral director. Preference will be given to applicants with an Adventist background, having a Masters degree in music and several years of choral directing experience. Five Dollars a Week, One Percent a Month

Your faithful generosity has always allowed City Church to create new opportunities for social connections and spiritual growth within our congregation. For 2015, consider increasing your giving to Church Budget by $5 per week, or increasing your giving by 1% of your income. We thank you for being a contributing member of your community. Glendale City Church needs each member to give their time and energy to ministry one Sabbath a month.
